Therapy roles in prison health teams usually include;
- Physiotherapists- help patients to maximise movement following an accident, illness or underlying health issue using manual therapy and exercise techniques
- Occupational Therapists- assessing and treating physical and psychiatric conditions,helping patients to be independant in normal daily activities
- Podiatrists- improving the mobility, independance and quality of life for patients through treating problems with the feet, ankles and lower limbs
